🚀 Final Year Project (FYP) Showcase 2025

Innovation in Action by Herald College Students

The Final Year Project (FYP) Showcase 2025 at Herald College Kathmandu stood as a remarkable demonstration of innovation, creativity, and real-world problem-solving by the students. Each project reflected the culmination of months of dedication, research, and development, not just as academic tasks but as potential industry-ready solutions.

 

Students from BSc (Hons) Computer Science presented a wide array of tech-driven solutions, tackling modern-day challenges in areas like remote work monitoring, ecommerce, fitness, travel planning, security, and more. With a mix of web applications, tools, and cross-platform systems, the showcase illustrated the depth of talent and forward-thinking mindset of Herald College students.

 

The FYP Showcase wasn’t just about completing a curriculum, it was about applying knowledge to create impact, and this year’s projects did exactly that.

A progressive web app that automates tax calculations and billing while supporting inventory and sales tracking for businesses of all sizes.

 

Group Travel Hub

A trip management platform for friends and groups, integrating real-time chat, expense tracking, and map-based location coordination.

 

ArtEFund – Creators Donation Platform

A web platform to support Nepali digital creators through direct contributions, offering personalized benefits from creators.

 

Inventory Management System

LoCari – Freelancing Platform for Local In-Person Services

EasySAST – Security Analysis Tool for PHP Developers

A lightweight static analysis tool that detects vulnerabilities in PHP code. Offered as both a web application and VS Code extension.
