Guardians Meet
Herald College Kathmandu organized a successful Guardians Meet on 2nd February, a programme aimed at developing coordination between the school and students' guardians. The meeting was a platform for a two way exchange of academic details and institutional ambitions with respect for the vital student support system bond.
The event began with a hearty welcome, followed by an inspirational keynote by Prakash Shrestha, CEO of Herald College Kathmandu. His words resonated in his speech on the joint responsibility of leading students into the future with innovation, adaptability, and purpose. The commitment of the college is to maintain global standards, deliver education that is directly related to the needs of the industry, and mold students in a wholesome way. He also talked of the pivotal role being played by coordination with parents in a student's success.
One of the session's highlights was the "Parents Wish" exercise, a poignant exercise in which parents wrote personal, heartfelt messages and wishes to their children. This personal and symbolic gesture produced smiles, motivation, and even a few tears of joy. Parents presented hopes, dreams, and advice that students would treasure for a lifetime as they set out on their academic path.
Guardian's Meet was an open forum for interaction for guardians and authorities of the college. Academic performance and future programs were shared by the faculty, illustrating how Herald College is setting students up for success abroad with experiential learning, field experience, and global qualifications.
The event was characteristic of Herald College's conviction that education is most powerful when school and home are in cooperative partnership. By forging a strong support network between college, students, and parents, HCK can continue developing not just academically high-achieving students, but students with confidence, empathy, and preparedness for a global world.
The Guardians' Meet concluded in a spirit of solidarity, with hopes of better days ahead and with redoubled resolve to stand together for the welfare and progress of all of Herald's children.
