HCK Unlocked: Welcoming New Beginnings at Herald College Kathmandu
On February 20th, Herald College Kathmandu hosted HCK Unlocked, an orientation event for the Spring intake students. It was a day full of excitement, useful information, and a lot of fun, signaling the beginning of an exciting journey for the new batch.
The day began with a warm welcome as excited students arrived for their first day at HCK. The orientation started with helpful sessions introducing the different academic courses. Students learned what their classes would look like and got to meet the people from various departments, like computing, business, and student services, who will guide them along the way.
The welcoming address by the CEO was one of the highlights, particularly for covering the college’s mission, beliefs, and aspirations for the new students. The remarks certainly made his students for the day in a better mood as he encouraged them to embrace challenges, stay curious, and to fully utilize their time at HCK.
Following the formal lessons, the mood became vibrant with a variety of enjoyable activities and games. These sessions allowed students to relax, laugh, and interact with one another, easing first-day anxieties and fostering friendships from the start.
To make the day even more special, winning students received welcome gifts as tokens of appreciation from the college. These small gestures contributed to Herald College's warm and inclusive environment.
HCK Unlocked was more than just an orientation; it was a celebration of fresh starts. The event provided academic insights, engaging sessions, and a lot of fun, laying the groundwork for a successful and memorable college experience.
