IMBA Orientation
The IMBA orientation day at Herald College Kathmandu, marked the beginning of a thrilling experience. Surrounded by new faces, new dreams, and a defined purpose, a sense of excitement and anticipation overcame all the people who had gathered there.
As students arrived on campus, they eagerly anticipated this new chapter in their lives. The orientation was well organized to facilitate their transition, offering a preview of the opportunities and diversity that the new IMBA class would experience.
The session commenced with a warm welcome that set a positive tone for the program. New students became acquainted with the school, the teaching methods, and the resources available at Herald College. Coordinators and faculty members outlined what the IMBA program would involve, including rigorous classes, engaging activities, group projects, and hands-on experiences in real businesses.
One of the vital aspects of orientation was familiarization with the department. This helped the students understand how the program is organized, what is required of them, and the support services that can assist them in learning. It was a matter of informing the students about how their academic selections would impact their careers.
One of the alumni from the Herald College shared a personal experience, which resonated well with the crowd. The alumnus discussed their experiences as a beginner in a new school, as well as what happened when they graduated. The graduate disclosed valuable experiences, issues, and learning points from them. It made all the new students realize that though the future might be difficult, it is also an opportunity for development and achievement.
The college leaders addressed the group, reinforcing Herald's commitment to an education that is rigorous and relevant to the new world of business. This served to link the students to the college's broader mission of producing skilled, confident, and employment-ready graduates.
The sessions concluded with a casual Hi-Tea when the group all blended. It was an opportunity for casual conversations. Students chatted with teachers, senior students offered advice, and new friends started bonding. The casual conversations, despite their casual nature, facilitated teamwork and friendships for the future.
Dinner and live music marked the conclusion of the orientation, creating a cheerful atmosphere filled with laughter, music, and fond memories. This joyful environment reflected how everyone felt that day. It was more than just the start of a course, it was the beginning of their journey into a vibrant community.
The new IMBA batch is enthusiastic and well-supported by their families and friends. They are excited about maximizing their time at Herald College and the opportunities that await them after graduation.
