Just finished +2? Here's the one thing most students wish they had done before starting their degree

The gap between finishing +2 and starting university feels like a break. For most students, it is. But for a small group, it becomes the moment that changes everything.

You've worked hard to get through SEE and +2. But if you're honest with yourself, you might be asking

“Do I actually know what a tech job looks like? Can I design something? Can I build a website? Do I know any coding?”

Most students enter their degree with zero practical skills and spend the first year just catching up. The ones who stand out? They arrived ready.

The honest reality of starting a tech/business degree in Nepal

Most degree programmes assume you'll figure things out as you go

Internships and real projects are often only available in year 3 or 4

Employers want skills, portfolios, and experience ; not just a degree certificate

What if you could get ahead before day one?

That's exactly what the Industry Preparation Course (IPC) at Herald College Kathmandu is built for. It's a short, intensive programme designed for students like you ; fresh out of +2, curious about tech and business, but not sure where to start.

In just under two weeks, you go from zero industry experience to having a branding video, a Figma design, a live blog, your first Python code, and a working prototype ; all built by you, reviewed by real instructors, and in some cases, seen by actual companies.

10 skills. Real projects. No prior experience needed.
